Wow what an exciting month of May!

DRILLING DEMO 2023

What an amazing turnout for our annual Drilling Demo. Every year the demo gets bigger and better. The RSVP’s for 2024 are already in! This year we had an amazing group of people from the Drilling Industry:  BCIT students, client managers and junior engineers, ministries, presenters, and other industry service providers. The feedback was that the knowledge shared and networking opportunities was so informative and valuable to everyone. In particular, the students that found their future jobs!

DEBUT AT DEMO: ENGINEER IN TRAINING AREA

We were so excited to debut our Engineer in Training (EIT) area at the drilling demo. We have designated an area for our clients and students to come and use the space for practicing and learning sampling and testing methods. You could learn in a comfortable pressure free environment vs on the job. We have installed a 2″ monitoring well with a nested soil vapour probe and also a vibrating piezometer with a slope inclinometer. We are committed to improving this area over the years to come. Simply call our office to book in your training date and we will help you organize it!

The drilling demo and EIT area is Omega’s commitment and effort to support and contribute back to our Industry as best we can. We wouldn’t be able to do it without the support of our clients, staff and business associates.  So thank you to everyone for being a big part of it and we are always grateful and thankful.

BEST WHISTLER 2023

We had a great time at our booth again this year at BCEIA BEST Whistler Conference! We love seeing everyone there and is always a fun time.
